Egypt, Earth

Scorpions roam everywhere claiming Egypt and much of Earth's remaining lands. Due to a catastrophic nuclear bomb, every single human being died either because of the bomb or because of its radiation. There are no trees, grass, children, money or anything that we human once thought was the source to our happiness. Every single marvelous building is devoured by the millions of tons of sand that now is the base of the Earth and the material used to construct new buldings. Although there is water surrounding Egypt it is hundreds of miles away, either way scorpions do not need water. Let me put it this way, scorpions are basically humans in the sense that they are the creatures to be feared and form the only civilization.
This is the land, home, and kingdom, of Scorpio. The setting takes place in about 10,000 AD in which there are no longer humans in Earth, only animals. Egypt is now a home to hundreds of millions of scorpions since they are at the top of the food chain considering that each is approximately seven feet long. Its weather can reach temperatures of about 130 degrees and at night be at less than 0 degrees Fahrenheit. Its everlasting desert takes up most of the country and its population.
